Based in Portland, Oregon, Wildwood Capital Group derived its name from a popular local hiking trail that traverses Forest Park. Forest Park is the largest urban forested park in the United States, which the founders of WCG enjoy as one of the many benefits of living in the Pacific Northwest. The park was first conceptualized by the Olmstead Brothers in 1903 and was formally created in 1948 by the collaborative efforts of visionary groups, agencies and individuals. Forest Park forms the intersection between city and nature, Wildwood Trail covers rolling trails and steep hills, and each season provides an ever changing experience within the park. The park, which can be seen throughout the Portland area, provides WCG with a visual reminder of the vision, diversity of ideas, and dedication that is required to deal with an ever changing environment…qualities we strive to bring to the real estate industry and our clients.
